UCC receptions in Europe and Montreal

London branch receptionUpper Canada College representatives spread out across the world in the past week to meet with Old Boys and community members at three branch receptions.

Principal Jim Power addressed an audience of more than 50 at the London, England reception and dinner at The Royal Automobile Club on Nov. 8. Advancement vice-principal Bill O’Hearn and executive director of admission Chantal Kenny also represented UCC.

That trio then flew east to Hungary to meet with nine Old Boys at a reception held outside of Budapest. O’Hearn showed he has a bright future in food service if he ever decides to leave the education field when he pulled out a carving knife before dinner at the event.

Meanwhile, back in Canada, advancement representatives Dave Shaw and Samantha Kerbel greeted 90 guests at a reception at Montreal’s University Club on Nov. 9.
