It was a historic day for the 29th annual Ontario Model Parliament, marking the first time a sitting premier offered the event’s keynote. Please see the video of Premier Kathleen Wynne’s address below and, for complete coverage including election results, please read the Ontario Observer, the official student newspaper of the Ontario Model parliament.

The delegation of 350 students from more than 80 schools congregated in Laidlaw Hall on March 1 to kick off the annual simulation of the Ontario government for students from Grades 8 to 12. Following Saturday’s elections, a three-day government simulation at the Ontario Legislative Assembly (Queen’s Park) happens Wednesday, April 23 to Friday, April 25.
