Three gold medals for UCC at Toronto Science Fair

Upper Canada College students posted stellar results at the Toronto Science Fair (TSF), and two of them have qualified for the Canada-Wide Science Fair in May.

Fourteen Prep students and one Upper School student took part in the TSF at the University of Toronto Scarborough on March 28 and they collected three gold and four silver medals.

They were led by Christopher Adolphe and Joshua Benatar, who followed their gold medal at UCC’s science fair with another gold at TSF for their project on how alcohol content affects the effectiveness of mouthwash. That also earned the boys the Canada-Wide Science Fair Travel Award that will enable them to compete for more honours at the University of Fredericton from May 11 to 16.
