Therapist and author Alyson Schafer provided helpful insights and tips for parents of adolescents as they navigate difficult waters regarding drinking, Tuesday, Nov. 24 in Weston Hall. This event was hosted by the College, the Parents’ Organization and the Prep Parents’ Organization as part of the new “It’s All About The Boys” Parent Exchange information program.
With more than 40 per cent of students in Grades 7 to 12 reporting they’d tried alcohol in the past year, teens face enormous pressures that can put them at risk for under-age drinking. Schafer discussed ways to ease the stress and keep kids on a positive path. Check out the full presentation below.
