Spotlight on UCC skiers

Many of our accomplished students excel outside the UCC campus. Meet four inspirational Upper School athletes who are able to successfully juggle demanding academic and extra-curricular workloads with heavy ski training and racing schedules:

Will Francis, 16, is in his final year of Division 1 U16. He consistently ranks in the top three provincially and expects to represent Ontario in the upcoming Canadian-American championships.

Trevor Hutcheson, 16, is a member of the Southern Ontario Division ski team. He’s in his first year racing at the International FIS Level. He has recently ranked in the top 10 in Canada for his age in slalom.

Carr Norton, 18, is a member of the Southern Ontario Division Ski Team, in his second year racing at the International FIS Level. He recently won his U18 club series title.

Jack Norton, 18, is a member of the Ontario ski team, also in his second year racing at the International FIS level.  An ankle injury has kept him out of races most of the season, but last year, he ranked in the top 10 in Canada for his age in giant slalom. He is now back in the gates, posting some impressive results.

Congrats to all.
