The countdown has started to May 12, 2012, as Believe in Blue Gala chairs Pat and Michelle Meneley and members of their team are already working hard to make the exclusive event at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum a highlight of the social calendar.
A fine wine auction at Weston Hall at UCC’s Prep School will precede the gala on April 18, 2012. Proceeds from the gala table and ticket sales, the fine wine auction, a raffle, silent and live auctions will be targeted towards three areas of vital importance to the College:

The Believe in Blue Gala is your chance to show how much you care about our boys and UCC’s future. Plans are underway for some fabulous events that will bring together our community in the spirit of celebration and fun.
The Believe in Blue Gala promises to be an unforgettable evening of exquisite dining, entertainment, a jewel box, silent and live auctions, but most of all it’s about sharing a great evening with friends. Galas are only held once every four or five years at UCC, so the event really is a unique opportunity to support our boys and their school. We’re thrilled to be holding the gala at one of Toronto’s cultural treasures, the Royal Ontario Museum. New this year will be a Believe in Blue After-Party to involve a broader spectrum of the UCC community. It will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and, of course, dancing into the wee hours to fantastic music.
The not-to-be missed fine wine auction will be held on April 18 at Weston Hall and will present incredible opportunities to bid on exquisite wines and silent auction items. The Believe in Blue Raffle will be launched at Association Day on Oct. 1, 2011.
We hope you’ll share our enthusiasm as we prepare for a fantastic year. Together we’ll make a significant impact on our boys and their school through our support of Believe in Blue.

Calling all wine lovers ... Get a taste for the Believe in Blue Gala at the fine wine auction.
The fine wine auction at UCC's George Weston Hall is the ideal warm-up to the Believe in Blue Gala and is sure to get you into the mood for the festivities ahead.
6:30 p.m. Reception with cocktails, hors-d’ouevre and a silent auction while you’re serenaded by the UCC Jazz Ensemble.
7: 30 p.m. Live auction offering individual bottles and groupings of fine wine for the discerning palate.
Tickets cost $50.
The gala committee is also looking for donations of fine vintage wine for the wine auction.
