Biography: My wife Bina and I have enjoyed over 10 years at UCC. I divide my time between the Prep and Upper Schools. U13 soccer and U12 hockey are my coaching assignments, and I thoroughly enjoy working in Seaton’s House as a senior house adviser. Prior to teaching at UCC I taught in South Korea and with the Toronto District School Board for a total of eight years. During my free time I enjoy nothing more than RVing across Canada with my family.

Biography: My classroom presents an engaging, challenging and vibrant learning environment that brings relevance to mathematics. Through interdisciplinary units, interactive student-centred lessons and the use of technology, I’m able to differentiate instruction and assessment to ensure that all learners can realize their potential. My accomplishments outside the classroom vary from coaching basketball to being a Howard’s House adviser. I’ve led several student trips into different environments, expanding students’ awareness of the world, including an international service learning trip to Udaipur, India. I’m a fan of all things Superman.

Biography: I’ve taught Kindergarten for more than a decade and have taught in the public, private and international systems. I’m always amazed at the amount of growth that happens in a Kindergarten school year and always finish a year having learned as much from the students as they have from me.
