Biography: Susan has been a clinical social worker for more than 30 years and had experience with children’s mental health and the Toronto District School Board before joining UCC. She deeply values the energy and hope of adolescent boys as well as being part of a thoughtful and supportive team.

Biography: Martha has more than 20 years of experience working in school-based programs from both treatment and prevention-focused perspectives. She works collaboratively with families, teachers, the Prep School nurse, the health and life skills program and administration to promote the well-being of students.

Biography: Cindy started her nursing career in a medical, surgical and oncology ward at McMaster Children’s Hospital, where she still practises on a casual basis. Cindy speaks Spanish, which is an asset for our boarding community.

Biography: Avia arrived at UCC in 2007 after working in the neurosurgery wing at Toronto Western Hospital. She has a nursing degree from George Brown College and an art history/English literature degree from the University of Western Ontario. She’s also an avid marathon runner.

Biography: Sonya received her B.A. from York University, a diploma in sports injury management for athletic therapy from Sheridan College, and then her athletic therapy certification. She has managed UCC’s sports injury clinic since 1994 and provides care and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal/sports injuries at the school.

Biography: Gina is a registered nurse who was educated at Ryerson University. She has extensive experience in a pediatric setting, both in hospitals and the community. Gina’s natural and nurturing ability with school-age children makes her a perfect fit for the Prep.
