Academic Background: B.A. Honours (University of Prince Edward Island), B.Ed. (University of Prince Edward Island), M.A. (McGill University)
Biography: The focus of my life has been to live each moment like an adventure in a great novel. I have no time for television or shopping malls. I’m constantly on the move, learning a new skill or reading a classic novel that challenges my understanding of the world around me. I photograph and design the Prep Times yearbook and coach the U13 cross-country team. In my spare moments I work as a commercial food and product photographer, travel extensively and play bass with a variety of musicians in Toronto.
Current Title: Prep School English and drama teacher and character integrator
Academic Background: London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, B.A. in English (University of Toronto), B.Ed. (OISE/University of Toronto)
Biography: I arrived at UCC in 2005. Directing Prep shows and teaching English and drama are a perfect match for my love of literature and theatre. My goal as character education integrator at the Prep is to help boys develop a deeper understanding of themselves and an awareness of how they can apply this knowledge to improve their world. I’m grateful for my husband Carl Beaudoin (senior house adviser of Wedd’s House) and two daughters, Paige and Portia. We enjoy living on campus and being members of the UCC boarding community.
