Biography: I have been an employee at Upper Canada College since 2011. My coaching assignments have included U11 soccer, U11 softball, and U10 soccer. I am currently an Associate House Adviser for Wedd’s House as part of the boarding community here at UCC. During my free time, I enjoy playing sports and spending time at the cottage with family and friends.

Biography: I have taught Years 5 and 3 here at Upper Canada and am constantly amazed at the potential in our boys, the dedication of my peers, and support of our community. I am fortunate to be a part of this community and daily strive to give my best, as our history commands it, and the future of our boys deserves it.

Biography: I have a passion for teaching Kindergarten and have dedicated my teaching career to this age group. The amount of growth that occurs in the Kindergarten year never ceases to amaze me and I love celebrating the milestones that occur with the students I teach and their families. I go home every evening to my beautiful two young girls, my husband and our bouncing Labrador Retriever. We love spending our weekends at the park and our summers at the lake.

Biography: I joined UCC in 2006 as a Year 5 teacher. Over the years I have taken on many roles including Health and Life Skills Co-ordinator and Year 7 Adviser and I directed Footloose the Musical along with many other primary and middle division plays. Presently, I coach swimming in the winter and track and feld in the spring, and have had the additional pleasure of coaching soccer and basketball. My wife Renée and daughter Éva are a continuous source of support and inspiration. I hope to run a full marathon by 2018.

Work Experience: Prior to joining UCC, I spent three years at international schools in Bogota, Colombia and two years in the Toronto District School Board.
Biography: I’ve been in a classroom for most of my life, as a student and a teacher. The magical spirit that a group of curious and caring children create helps fuel my own learning. I have published two educational books based on my professional practice. Being active, getting outside, being with my family and friends are essential to the creativity and energy I bring to my teaching.

Academic Background: B.A. Hon in Art History/Studio Art (University of Guelph), B.Ed., M.Ed. and Visual Art Specialist and Primary (OISE/University of Toronto)
Work Experience: Visual Arts teacher at The York School, Supply teaching at Branksome Hall and Havergal College. Prior to teaching I worked at the Canadian Cancer Society, Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. At these organizations I worked in marketing, events and donor relations.
Biography: I am the SK-5 visual arts teacher and I also teach Year 5 design inquiry. I am also leading the Sprouts garden club, art studio this winter and hopefully Year 7 rugby in the spring. I cycle to work each day, love photography, painting and exploring graffiti in the city. I played rugby in high school, have coached ultimate frisbee for years and love hiking the most.
