Current Title: University counselling associate director
Academic Background: B.A. (University of Toronto), M.S. (University of Bradford)
Biography: I worked my way through undergraduate degrees in anthropology and archaeology and then a masters in archaeology. I spent several years working in exotic locales throughout Central America, South America and Europe. Part of my work involved educating local populations about conservation, preservation and cultural heritage. I parlayed my skills to university counselling, where I’ve been happily engaged for the last 10 years. I’ve continued to cultivate my appreciation for travel by chaperoning UCC service trips and visiting universities throughout the world (among other travels), and keep my hands busy with a variety of creative hobbies, including painting, sculpting and knitting.
