The Sports Camps teach a variety of fundamentals, with excellent instruction for young athletes at the introductory and intermediate levels. The Arts and Tech Camps provide creative and intellectual challenges for children of all levels. The Kids Camps offer a broad range of activities and sports for children aged 4-8.

Sports Day Camps (ages 6-16 depending on program choice)
Our Sports Summer Day Camps are a great way to get your child moving, and at the same time, introduce new skills. From lacrosse through to golf and baseball we’ve got all the hottest sports! Each camp provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals, as well as more advanced skill development for older players.
Arts & Theatre Day Camps
The Arts Summer Day Camps provide creative challenges for children of all levels. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or a future So You Think You Can Dance contestant, we have a camp that will bring out the best of his or her talents. Technology Day Camps

Since 1997, UCC's Summer Academy has been providing excellence in summer academic experiences through Credit, Enrichment, and UCC IB Enrichment courses. Small classes, superb teachers and modern, well-equipped facilities ensure an optimal learning experience. All courses are coeducational and are open to all students.

Key Information for Campers and Parents Registration Camp registrations may be done online, however all changes and cancellations must be processed through the camp office. Registration forms received in the camp office will be processed on a first come, first served basis, although camp staff will not be able to guarantee availability due to continuous online activity.
On the first day of camp your child will bring home a letter from the director of the camp for which he or she is registered. This letter will contain the director’s telephone extension, swim days and program specific information. |

 Tax Receipts The confirmation letter you printed off at the time of registration, or received in the mail, serves as your receipt for income tax purposes. |

 Refunds All cancellations must be made in writing (fax, email or letter) to the Summer Camp Office.
Refunds, less a $25 administrative charge per child/per week, will be issued up to 2 weeks prior to the first day of a camp session. Refunds are NOT available within the 2 week period prior to the start of a session.
Refunds for medical reasons are available only upon receipt of a doctor's note in the Summer Camps Office.
Pro-rated refunds are not available for days absent, meals not taken or other services not fully utilized. The full session’s fees are due and payable if a child is registered and attends any part of a session.
Transfer requests must be made in writing to the Camp Office and are subject to a $25 administrative fee per transfer, per child. |

 Attendance We maintain strict registration and attendance procedures to help ensure the safety and security of all participants and to properly track each child’s personal and medical information.
All campers must check in upon arrival and be checked out by their director at the end of the day.
Please telephone your child’s camp director if he or she will be late or absent. (The number will be provided to you on the first day.) If you know in advance that your child will be absent for part of a session, please inform the director immediately. If the phones are busy, your call will be sent to voice mail. Please leave a message. |

 Drop-off and Pick-up About 800 participants arrive at UCC Summer Camps each day, at both Upper Canada College and The Bishop Strachan School. We need your help to ensure the safety and security of all registered children. Please read the following information carefully.
You may drop your child off after 8:30 a.m. Our staff are prepared to greet and care for them at that time. Camps begin at 9 a.m. and extend until 4 p.m. each weekday, including statutory holidays.
Traffic is one way only in many locations. Drive safely, slowly and watch for children at all times.
There are seven drop-off and pick-up locations around the UCC Campus. All vehicles entering the College grounds MUST use either the west entrance off Forest Hill Road or the north entrance off Kilbarry Road (except those destined for Jr. Landsports Camp, in which case the small driveway off Forest Hill Rd., just north of Lonsdale, should be used). Vehicles entering the main driveway from Forest Hill Road must travel in one direction only and exit on Lonsdale Road. Please do not enter off Lonsdale The Kilbarry Road entrance should be used for those registered in Baseball, Senior Soccer, Golf and the Leadership Training Program. All other camps at the UCC site use the Forest Hill Road entrances.
A shuttle bus service is provided for participants in Golf Camp. The drop-off and pick-up location is at the UCC Campus, accessible from the north entrance off Kilbarry Road. The bus leaves promptly at 8 a.m. and returns by 4 p.m. daily.
Junior Tennis, Creative Arts, Dance and Film will all drop-off at the Bishop Strachan School. Junior Tennis and Film will use the Warren Rd. entrance, and Creative Arts and Dance will use the Russell Hill Rd. entrance.

 Extended Care Service For your convenience, UCC Summer Camps offers a free Extended Service from 4:15 p.m.–5:30 p.m. sharp.
Any campers not picked up by 4:15 p.m. are automatically brought to Extended Service.
Campers not picked up from Extended Care by 5:30 p.m. will be moved to the Summer Camps Office at the UCC site, or will remain in the Gym at the BSS site, and an automatic late charge of $25 per child will be administered. The Summer Camps staff are not authorized to make any exceptions to this policy for any reason. The late charge must be paid to the senior administrative staff on duty. |

 Changes in Contact Information Please notify us with any change of address, phone number, family structure or other pertinent information we should know about your child. |

 Meals, Snacks and Food Allergies All participants receive a nutritious lunch with soup, a hot entrée and salad bar. We cannot accommodate special meal requests, but each dining hall menu offers a vegetarian choice.
Children in Kids Camp have an afternoon snack provided. All other participants have the opportunity to visit the Tuck Shop.
Food Allergies: Due to the danger to children’s health from food allergies, we ask that no food be brought from home. For information concerning food allergies, please email: aramark@ucc.on.ca. |

 What to Bring - All Campers Please bring:
- sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher) and a hat to wear outside for recreation times
- bathing suit & towel for swim days
- small amount of cash for the Tuck Shop
- a water bottle to fill & carry throughout the day
- clothing, equipment & personal belongings with names clearly marked on them

 What to Bring - Sports Programs Baseball Camp: Campers must bring their own baseball glove and should wear running shoes (no spikes). Please do not bring your own baseballs to camp.
Basketball Camp: Please wear a good pair of court shoes. Please do not bring basketballs to camp.
Golf Camp: Please wear suitable golf attire. Cleats are not required. Campers without their own set of golf clubs may rent a junior set through Cardinal for their exclusive use throughout the week. The director will send out a letter prior to your session with more information.
Hockey Camp: Campers need full hockey equipment including a CSA-approved helmet, facemask and neckguard. Campers should bring two sticks, tape and extra skate laces. Note: We do not supply any equipment for goalies.
Inline Hockey Camp: Campers provide equipment including inline skates (with or without brake), a hockey stick, gloves (inline, ice hockey or lacrosse), hockey helmet and cage, hard plastic-coated elbow and knee pads (although full-length hard plastic shin pads are recommended), hockey girdle padding (optional) and jock (optional).
Lacrosse Camp: Campers must bring their own sticks, gloves (hockey or better yet lacrosse), running shoes or soft cleats, and a CSA approved helmet with cage.
Senior Landsports Camp: Campers should wear running shoes and loose, comfortable clothing.
Soccer Camps: Campers must wear shin guards and bring both running shoes and soccer cleats. Please do not bring soccer balls from home.
Tennis Camp: Campers should wear light or white athletic clothing with a good pair of court shoes. Campers must bring their own tennis racquets. |

 What to Bring - Kids, Art and Tech Camps  Kids Camp & Creative Arts Camp: Campers should wear comfortable clothing that's OK to get dirty!
Junior Landsports Camp: Campers should wear running shoes and loose, comfortable clothing.
Tech Camps: Campers should wear comfortable footwear for outdoor games and recreation time.
Theatre Arts: Campers should wear cool, comfortable clothes. Do not wear jeans or clothing that will restrict your range of movement.
Visual Arts Camp & Space Camp: Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty! |

  Lost and Found Each camp maintains its own Lost and Found. At the end of each session, unclaimed articles at the UCC site will be moved to the general Lost and Found, located on the second floor of the Arena just outside the Camp Office. At the BSS site, the general Lost and Found will be outside the Gym. At the end of the summer all remaining articles are donated to a charity. |
