 | UCC website gets a facelift
8/13/2008 Change can be a good thing — especially when that change is designed to make life easier for people. In August, the UCC website was revamped with new features to improve the navigation, design and overall experience for visitors to ucc.on.ca.
User feedback — from students, parents, alumni, employees and other website visitors — prompted the site facelift, the beginnings of which you’ll see this week. For starters, the new streamlined design makes the website easier to read, and the site now features added hits of colour.
The updated home page features new campus images, UCC-related news stories, and “hot buttons” that link directly to important news about upcoming events such as Association Day (UCC’s annual homecoming) and reunion weekends.
Members of the UCC community will discover that their intranet has been renamed “Bluenet.” Essentially the online gateway to all things UCC, Bluenet includes online class pages and class notes; a directory of community members; thousands of event photos; and dozens of other features. If you are having trouble logging on, please contact the UCC Help Desk. |
