Sports Day Camps

UCC offers a variety of fun and challenging summer sports day camps at our Toronto campus.

The Upper Canada College sports day camp programs are designed to give your child the chance to keep their minds and bodies engaged while our experienced instructors guide them to perform at their best. Offering sports from golf to soccer to basketball, the UCC sports day camps give your child the benefits that come with participation and competition in a supportive teaching environment. Consider the range of sports camp programs offered by UCC below:


Baseball Camp (ages 7-13)

Baseball Day Camp concentrates on the development of fundamental skills in a fun and supportive environment, and a game is scheduled each day to put those skills to use!

Junior Basketball Camp (ages 6-9)

Junior Basketball Day Camp provides a thorough grounding in the fundamental skills of basketball. This program is conducted in the gym and outdoor courts of the Prep School at UCC which has the facilities to accommodate young beginner players.

Senior Basketball Camp
(ages 10-16)

Senior Basketball Day Camp allows participants to improve their fundamental skills according to their age and ability. These camp sessions are conducted in the double gymnasia in the Upper School, as well as the Old Gym.

Golf Camp
(ages 9-14)

Golf Day Camp provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of golf, combined with daily practice. Cardinal Golf Club, located approximately 30 minutes north of Toronto, provides practice bunkers, putting greens, a driving range, course facilities offering a variety of 54 holes and a miniature golf facility.

Hockey Camp
(ages 7-12)

Established in 1976, Hockey Day Camp was UCC’s first summer camp! Our spectacular new arena has everything the young hockey fan could hope for, including a professional sized ice surface and large modern change rooms. Our counsellors provide a supportive and fun instructional environment, so that each camper is encouraged to appreciate the game of hockey, its skills, and its philosophy of team play.

In-Line Hockey Camp
(ages 7-12)

In-Line Hockey Day Camp focuses on both the skating realm of the sport as well as its popular link to hockey in a safe and fun environment. Campers learn basic skills and progress to more advanced techniques and strategies depending on their general ability level.

Lacrosse Camp
(ages 7-12)

Lacrosse Day Camp is designed to introduce new players to the exciting game of field lacrosse and help polish the skills of those who already have some experience with Canada's National Summer Sport.

Senior Landsports Camp
(ages 8-12)

Senior Landsports Day Camp is the perfect choice for children who crave sporting variety! Campers are given the opportunity to develop their skills in a number of outdoor sports, in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. It is also the ideal environment in which to try out a new sport!

Junior Soccer Camp
(ages 6-9)

The objective of Junior Soccer Day Camp is to combine the enjoyment of soccer with the acquisition of skills through creative and fun techniques. The Camp is conducted on the playing fields of the Prep School at Upper Canada College.

Senior Soccer Camp
(ages 9-14)

The Senior division of Soccer Day Camp allows this age group to improve fundamental skills according to age and ability. This camp is conducted on the north-west Commons field at the Upper School.

Junior Tennis Camp
(at BSS- ages 7-9)

Junior Tennis Day Camp is a great way for children learn the game of tennis in a fun and enthusiastic environment. The program offers an introduction to the sport for beginners while at the same time helping more experienced players improve their skills. The goal is to increase each child’s confidence in, and love of, the great sport of tennis!

Senior Tennis Camp
(ages 10-13)

Senior Tennis Day Camp covers all the basics for campers who are new to the sport, while at the same time helping more experienced players improve their fundamental skills according to their age and ability.
