There fee is $1140 in Canadian funds ($895 USD). This fee includes 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and a social hour on the first night as well as transportation to and from the Courtyard Marriott by bus each morning and each evening of the conference. On the final day there may be a bus ordered to go to the airport provided there is enough interest.
A confirmation of registration will be sent to you when you register. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you require a special invoice. Payment is due within 30 days of registrations. If the registration is less than than 30 days prior to the workshop, all payment must be done by credit card.
Payment may be made by VISA or MasterCard (not American Express), or by cheque or money order payable to Upper Canada College (200 Lonsdale Rd, Toronto, ON, M4V 1W6).
You may pay for your boarding accommodations at the time you register. After June 1, you must pay by credit card or email email@example.com for exceptional cases.
We have room for up over 60 people to stay in a combination of single and double rooms here on campus in our newly renovated, air-conditioned boarding house. This is our number one option for accommodations and the most convenient. Our campus is close enough to the subway to get out in the evening and see Toronto but the location on campus means you can sleep until the last minute.
Off-campus we recommend the Courtyard Marriott at 475 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 1X7 for a reasonable accommodation alternative.

The shuttle to and from the campus will leave from the Courtyard Marriott each morning.
Keep in mind this is a busy week for Toronto hotels and many may be booked. If you have to stay elsewhere please book near the Courtyard Marriott so you may take advantage of the bus or stay near the TTC line. We are closest to the St. Clair Subway station. Transportation to Toronto and accommodation during the conference is the responsibility of participants. UCC’s IB Teacher Conference provides a list of recommended accommodations and transportation between those hotels and the conference. Participants staying at alternative locations must provide their own transportation to UCC. UCC is located between the Davisville and St. Clair subway stations, about a 10-minute walk.
Toronto is served by two airports: Lester B. Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ). Participants must arrange their own transportation from the airport to the hotel via public transit, airport shuttle or taxi.
There will be a $100 late fee charged for all registrations received after the registration deadline (June 15, 2018). Registrations for which no payments or proof of payments have been received three weeks or less before the beginning of the workshop are at risk of cancellation due to wait list demands. Payments are accepted in the form of credit card, cheque or money orders.
A full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee, will be given for cancellations made on or before the registration deadline of June 15, 2018. No refunds will be given after the deadline. You can, however, substitute another person in someone’s place. All cancellation refunds will be processed after the workshop and issued by cheque regardless of payment type.
Wait list requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Notification will be sent out via email to participants and the IB coordinator if availability for a subject becomes open. The participant or the IB coordinator must accept this spot via written confirmation (email) within four business days. If a confirmation is not received within four days, the offer becomes null and void. Once written confirmation is received from the participant, all registration and cancellation policies are applicable. Wait list notifications sent out after the registration deadline are not subject to the $50 late fee.
