Taran Hooey ’24

Taran is the Head Steward and a Howard’s House mentor for the 2023–24 academic year. He is captain of the varsity basketball and varsity lacrosse teams, as well as the co-head of the Truth and Reconciliation Club. Music plays a significant role in Taran’s personal life and plays both guitar and piano. For his final year at UCC, he hopes to maintain a high academic standing in his classes, be a star contributor and leader on his sport teams and to exemplify the values of the Lang Scholar Program by giving back to the community.
