Admission Process
| STEP 1 |
|---|
|
Complete Your Application We invite families to learn more about UCC by attending our October Open House, submitting an inquiry form or attending an event, where you’ll find information about both local and international events. |
| STEP 2 |
|
Complete Your Application Create or log into your UCC account. (Only the candidate’s parents/guardians can legally create an account and submit an application. Those wishing to submit an application on behalf of a family should contact the Office of Admission at admission@ucc.on.ca.) Click the application form button. You can save your progress at any time and return to complete your profile later. Before submitting, please check that all fields are complete as you won’t be able to edit the information once it’s been submitted. Once your application form has been processed, you can log back in to submit supporting documents and the teacher reference form, available in your admission checklist. * We accept applications until December 1, however the application fee is $200 until November 1 and $300 until December 1. |
| STEP 3 |
|
Sign Up For an Academic Assessment We ask that all applicants complete an academic assessment, focusing on reading, writing and math skills. These assessments typically take place virtually, and we will reach out to selected candidates with more details. Assessment dates will be listed in your application portal, and we encourage families to register as soon as possible, as space is limited for each date. No additional preparation is required for the assessment. |
| STEP 4 |
|
Participate in an Interview Session Upon receipt and review of all required documents, selected candidates will be contacted to arrange an interview, accompanied by a parent or guardian. This conversation allows us to learn more about a prospective student’s areas of strength, needs, potential for success and alignment with UCC’s values. It also provides parents and guardians with a deeper understanding of UCC and the experiences that we offer. We encourage families who reside outside of Ontario to contact the Office of Admission before booking travel arrangements. If the parent or guardian requires language or translation support, please advise the Office of Admission during interview scheduling. Final admission decisions will be shared in February. |
