| Where does my legacy gift go? |

| You can specify the direction of your legacy gift in your will, or have your gift added to the College’s endowment. Either way, your gift will honour your memory and philanthropic wishes. |
| What is the easiest way to make a bequest to UCC? |

| What are the benefits for me? |
| A legacy gift offers several benefits to donors, including convenience, affordability, tax savings, leverage on your premiums, assistance with estate preservation, and the elimination of probate, legal and executor fees. Your legacy gift also allows you to make a significant gift to a meaningful cause if your current financial commitments preclude you from being able to do so. |
| Is there a minimum bequest allowed? |
| We welcome legacy gifts of all sizes. Endowed gifts continue to grow over time, increasing their impact and ensuring the people and places you care about are supported in perpetuity. |
| How do I make a legacy gift through life insurance? |
| Life insurance is a viable legacy giving option whereby you can gain tax advantages during your lifetime or realize benefits to your estate later on. Read more in UCC’s guide to gifts of life insurance. |
Our Third Century
Established in 2018, this recognition society brings together legacy donors who have informed UCC of their bequest intentions. Join a network of alumni, parents and friends of the College who share a common goal: ensuring UCC remains a world-class learning environment for generations to come.
Members of Our Third Century are listed in our yearly Giving Report and receive special invitations to receptions and events hosted at the College.
