Applying to Junior Kindergarten

• Step 1 — Submit an application

  To start your application for 2026 entry, you must first login to or create your UCC application account. Please ensure that when you create the account, you use the candidate’s legal name as it appears on his birth certificate or passport.

  
  

  Only the candidate's parents are legally authorized to create an account and submit an application. Agents wishing to submit an application on behalf of a parent should contact the Office of Admission at admission@ucc.on.ca before creating an account.

  
  

  Once you’ve logged in or created an account, click on the application form button to start filling out the form. You can save your work and return to complete and submit it at any time – please allow 30 minutes to an hour in total to complete the form. Please ensure that all form fields are complete before submitting as the application information cannot be edited once submitted. Please allow two days for processing the application form and payment.

  
  

  We highly encourage applications to be submitted by November 1, 2025 and will continue to accept applications until December 1, 2025. We encourage you to submit your application early as interview and assessment spaces are limited.

  
  

  The application fee schedule is as follows:

  $200 until Nov. 1, 2025

  $300 Nov. 2–Dec. 1, 2025

• Step 2 — Complete all steps in your application checklist

  All applicants will be required to attend a playful, age-appropriate group activity on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
  
  Optional JK classroom visits will be offered on the afternoons of Wednesday, April 8, 2026 and Thursday, April 9, 2026, giving your child a chance to explore the space and familiarize themselves with our learning environment.

• Step 3 — Await an interview invitation

  Following a review of the required documents submitted, we will contact eligible families to attend an interview. The interview gives us insight into the applicant and family’s personalities, interests and values through conversation with the student and his parents together. It’s also an opportunity for parents to gain a deeper insight into who we are and what we offer at UCC.

  Interviews will take place in the mornings between Tuesday, April 7 and Friday, April 10, 2026. 
  
  

  We strongly encourage families who reside outside of Ontario to contact the Office of Admission before booking travel arrangements.

• Step 4 — Receive your decision

  Admission decisions for JK applicants will be sent on April 14, 2026.
