Since it was founded in 1968, the IB’s mission has been built on a cornerstone of creating a better world through education. We believe that now more than ever, and are committed to ensuring that our educational programmes reflect this for the benefit of IB schools and students.

Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS)

The Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) was established in 1981 as a national network for supporting collaborative initiatives in leadership, education, management and governance. Its key activities included organizing, co-ordinating, and facilitating conferences, benchmarking, surveys, and advocacy.

The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS)

The Association of Boarding Schools serves college-preparatory boarding schools in the United States, Canada, and around the globe. The Association leads a domestic and international effort to promote awareness and understanding of boarding schools and to expand the applicant pool for member institutions.

National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS)

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,800 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including more than 1,500 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.

Conference of Independent Schools (Ontario)

The Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS Ontario) is an association of independent schools located in Ontario, Canada. CIS Ontario has 48 member schools with founding dates from 1829 through to 2002. Our schools collectively educate approximately 25,000 students and employ 4,300 staff.

G30 Schools

G30 Schools is an association of secondary schools, initiated in 2006. Its annual conference connects heads of school to discuss issues and central to educational leaders. It includes 50 schools from 30 countries, with membership by invitation. G30 schools are chosen based on: the reputation of the school and its leader.
