Transformational giving at UCC

UCC is grateful to have such a generous community that chooses to make transformative gifts in support of the College. These donations create impactful opportunities for our students and faculty and enhance the quality of school life while providing a lasting legacy.

Major gifts are typically given as either endowed or expendable gifts. Both gifts are valuable and important to our short and long-term goals.

Endowed gifts are gifts of enduring impact. Invested and carefully stewarded by our Board of Trustees, UCC’s endowment ensures that tradition, excellence and innovation are fostered now and for future generations of students. Most endowed funds are designated by the donor for specific purposes.

Expendable gifts are spent within the fiscal year that they are received. These gifts may be directed by the donor to a particular program, project or facility, or given as unrestricted gifts to spend on emerging needs.
