    Chris Studer '08 is a graduate of UCC and is the Executive Director of Get Real, a Toronto-based organization that hosts workshops for students on the impact of derogatory words and behaviour. The organization believes in the power of sharing personal narratives in increasing empathy and acceptance. Participants will hear from Chris and a colleague who have grown from their diverse life experiences and journeys to find confidence in their identities. The discussion highlights human connections and shared emotions, focusing on the impact we can have on one another through small acts of kindness. Free childcare provided by ASP. Coffee and Tea provided. Upper School parents as well as all UCC employees are welcome to join the discussion.

    Giselle Bloch is a board member of Toronto Pflag, a 100% volunteer-run registered charity whose mission is to promote the health and well-being of LGBTQ2S+ individuals and their families through support and education, with the goal of keeping families together. Giselle will share her own personal experiences raising and supporting two LGBTQ2S+ kids. This promises to be an interesting and engaging discussion. Free childcare will provided in ASP. Tea and Coffee will be provided. Upper School Parents and all UCC employees are welcome to join this discussion.
