Service Projects

Students have created two great service opportunities for you to engage in during this month. We strongly encourage you to sign up for one of these.

Pan(demic) Pals:
Participate in our student-run initiative, comprised of leaders from UCC, Bayview Glen, Bishop Strachan School, and other schools across the GTA, to connect seniors in retirement homes with student volunteers. The goal is to create meaningful connections that make social isolation easier for our seniors. As a volunteer, it would be a requirement that you call or email your senior a minimum of once per week. Options for those who want to make more of a commitment are available in design, marketing and operations. Email Shaan Hooey to sign up.

Prep Peer Tutoring
Join our student-run initiative to serve our brothers at the Prep in their online learning. Y12s can sign up as tutors and, every Monday from 2 to 3 p.m., work with a tutee. Because classes are still going on in the Prep, tutors are essential to providing supplementary one-on-one support to ensure that our younger brothers are best prepared for next year. Email Shaan Hooey or Alex Dreger to sign up.
