Major Gifts & Campaigns

Special fundraising campaigns

UCC is grateful to our many community members who choose to make transformative gifts in support of a particular school program, facility or campaign. These generous gifts, often pledged over multiple years, create powerful and essential opportunities for the students and teachers of Upper Canada College. In many cases these contributions help to create endowed programs, establishing significant enhancements to the quality of school life, while at the same time providing a lasting legacy for the donor.

Endowed vs. Expendable Gifts

An endowed gift is a donation given by a donor that is to be invested in perpetuity, with the interest available to spend on programs. Most endowed funds are restricted to donor direction.

An expendable gift is a donation given by a donor that is to be entirely spent within the fiscal year. Expendable funds can be restricted or unrestricted.
