Blues Score Late to Tie Crescent

The boys came out with hustle and determination for their first game of the season against Crescent School. Down 3-1 heading into the third period, UCC scored two quick goals to tie the game at 3. The game went back and forth with Crescent taking the lead 5-4 with just minutes left in the game. With our goalie pulled and an extra attacker on the ice, the Blues managed to score in a scramble in front of the net with just 5 seconds to go in the game to make it a 5-5 tie. The coaches are proud of the boys' ability to rally and never give up. They will use this game as a lesson and learn from it moving forward into the season.
