William Blair ’19

William is a previous varsity cross country runner (not this season due to injury). He is co-captain of the varsity swimming team, and is a member of the varsity badminton team. William is Head of neuroscience society and co-head of mental health and wellness committee. He also chairs the Synapse mental Health and Neuroscience conference, which happens during the winter term, is the Editor of Convergence, is a HOSA executive member, and volunteers with horizons. William is the CEO of start-up company ThermoBeat and worked at Ryerson DMZ to work on prototype for a pacemaker that can harness the thermal energy of the body (www.thermobeat.com). He is interested in genetic research and has previously studied personalized medicine and genetics in relation to Cystic Fibrosis as Yale Young Global Scholar at Yale University and will attend a Harvard science research conference later this year.
