Ryan Adams '05
Chair, Common Ties
Ryan ‘05 serves as the Director of Corporate Citizenship at RBC. Ryan helps bring RBC’s Purpose of “helping clients thrive and communities prosper” to life by providing strategic oversight for the design and execution of best-in-class community programs that engage RBC employees and retirees globally, add value to our communities, and help position RBC as an employer of choice. Ryan also leads RBC’s approach to the national Employee Giving Campaign. Previously, Ryan spent two years at RBC Ventures at the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Before joining RBC, Ryan has spent time at McKinsey &Company, WE (Free The Children), Qwalify (startup founded by UCC Old Boy), and the Clinton Foundation. Ryan completed his Master’s degree at University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, and received a BAH from Queen’s University.
Ryan cares deeply about his community, country, and planet, and in addition to serving as the Chair of Common Ties and as the Class President for the Class of 2005, he sits on the Canadian Board of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. He lives in Toronto with his wife Michelle, daughter Makena, and dog Tyson; loves sports, long runs, and animals, and is one of those unapologetically passionate vegans.
