Preston Senst ’22

Preston, a member of Orr’s House, plays varsity volleyball and basketball and also plays basketball for a high-level travel team. His interest in sports extends to governance; he is UCC’s athletic steward and head of the athletic council. He belongs to the Amnesty International club, the music production club, academic council and the Y11 planning team. He is co-head of both the songwriting club and the career strategies club and serves as co-editor-in-chief for College Times and college life editor for the Blue and White. Preston also headed the UCC school supplies drive. He was named a 2021 WAC student change-maker, was a winner at the Basketball Stars of America tournament and a CAIS national tournament finalist. Preston was also named a tournament all-star and defensive MVP at the Phenom hoops tournament. His favourite subjects are Latin and English, he was the winner of the 2021 UCC Latin Award, and a finalist in the Voyager International Songwriting Competition. Outside the classroom, he enjoys writing songs and performing music, as well as creative writing.
