The College’s Association Council is introducing an award to recognize graduates who are early in their careers — and already making a significant impact.
UCC's global alumni network is full of remarkable stories, and some of the most exciting are unfolding right now among young alumni who are already turning ambition into action.
Presented annually, the award will celebrate between three and five young Old Boys under 40 who have distinguished themselves through professional excellence and a genuine commitment to giving back in a way that reflects the College’s values. Honourees will be drawn from different industries worldwide to capture the UCC community today.
“Our young alumni are finding fascinating paths in their careers, their volunteer work and their personal pursuits,” says Leanne Gardner, associate director of community relations. “This is a chance to highlight those who are making their mark and to show our current students that success doesn't follow a single, linear route."
The new program will sit alongside the College’s established community honours recognizing lifetime achievements and long-standing volunteerism: the Old Boy of Distinction Award, the John D. Stevenson Award and the Harold A.D. Roberts Circle.
