Battalion Ball
UCC hosted the annual Battalion Ball at Palais Royale on Friday, March 29. The dance hall has been a fixture since the Lake Ontario waterfront was redeveloped in the early decades of the 20th century. Big bands such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie and the Dorsey Brothers have drawn audiences that exceeded 3,000 on some evenings.

UCC students and their dates joined together with UCC faculty and staff for a wonderful evening of entertainment. Evening memories were further heightened by a UCC band that included faculty members Jeff Hill, Nick Morris and Peter Gray. It was definitely a night that will be long remembered by all who attend
