As the JV Football exited their bus and prepared for their match, little did they know that their match would take place on the fronzen tundra of St. Andrew's College in Aurora. The conditions would play a factor for both teams we efforts were made to clear the snow as best as we could to allow for a spirited and competitive affair between the two rivals. Both teams stuck to the ground game to assess the footing of their players and it paid off early for the Blues as Jack Edelist went for a 65 yard touchdown run to give the Blues an early lead. The Blues held that lead until the dying seconds of the first half where the Saints managed to punch the ball in taking a lead into halftime. Much of the second half continued on the same trend of a defensive battle. Despite a late charge the Blues unfortunately still fell short to the Saints with a final score of 12-6. The Blues will play a very pivotal match this Thursday against the Saints which will determine who will have the honor of facing St. Michael's in the Championship game. The Bues must win the game by atleast a touchdown for that to happen. We are confident that the boys will be able to do so and will prepare according.
