Blues Battle Past Crescent

The Blues opened their CISAA account with an impressive 47-19 victory over crosstown rivals Crescent School.

The Blues opened the scoring in the fifth minute, building the phases nicely before earnign a penalty deep in the Crescent half.  Alex Munoz dove over from the resulting quick tap and the boys had their tails up.  Connor McKinney would add two tries from fullback, before Crescent could strike back.  

Credit to the team in Green - they did not give up.  Crescent showed excellent resolve to pull back within three points, marching down the field three times to score.  

UCC would not be denied, however and foudn another gear to score four more times through Simon Ofiara, Daniel Tesfay, Jack Tucker and Pier-Olivier Lefebvre.

Next up for the Blues is the CAIS tournament in Hamilton.
