U16 Badminton defeats SAC

The U16 Badminton team travelled to Aurora this past weekend to play SAC in our first road game of the season. Despite having a depleted roster, the boys played well, ultimately winning 3:2. Brian lost in his debut at First Singles, but played well and adjusted quickly to some tricky lighting in the gym. Eric, making his singles debut, came roaring back after being down 1-0, to ultimately win 2-1. His final two games were close 23-21 and 21-17. Well done! Meanwhile in doubles, the team of Josh and Ryan frustrated their opponents while winning 2-0 with scores of 21-19 and 21-19. Finally, Lucca and Andrew made quick work of their second doubles game 21-14 and 22-20. With two remaining home games this week, we are in the final preparations for CISAA's on Wednesday, May 22.
