Charles Paterson ’27
A mentor and member of Scadding’s House, Charles plays on the varsity baseball and varsity cross country teams and received the General Proficiency award in Years 8, 9, and 10. Additionally, he won the Class of ’57 trophy. This is his second consecutive year as a Learning and Service Representative for his class. Extracurricularly, Charles is a member of the BlueNotes, takes part in both Model United Nations and the World Affairs Conference, and is the co-head of the truth and reconciliation club. Outside of school, he’s the assistant captain of the Toronto Eagles A hockey team. His favourite subject in school is history because of the conversations it sparks. In his spare time, Charles enjoys playing guitar and going fishing. Charles' goal this upcoming year is to continue balancing athletics and growing in his leadership roles. After UCC, Charles hopes to pursue business with a focus on business as a tool for good.
