Embracing virtual learning

Our physical campus is closed, but love of learning continues to connect our community.
Students hit the ground running last week with the launch of the College’s virtual Continuous Learning Plan, a robust program developed through the diligent and creative work of administrators, faculty and staff. Our CLP allows for the pursuit of academic objectives while promoting connection and a sense of wellbeing during these challenging times.

Fostering our sense of community – local, national and global – has been top of mind, and the transition to our virtual learning landscape is creating new experiences and inspiring discoveries for students and faculty alike.

Recent highlights of compassion and resilience include our SK kindness ninjas posting rainbow signs in their windows to cheer up passers-by. And in an effort to support Canada’s frontline healthcare workers, science teachers donated all of their Nitrile gloves to Michael Garron Hospital where they can be used to battle COVID-19 directly.
