A huge congratulations to our U12 Volleyball team for their incredible win this past weekend! All who attended were so impressed with not only their improvement but their consistent 3 contact plays. Our final match against St.Andrews was an exciting one! Heading into the third set the boys discussed the importance of serving and good defence- two skills that would allow us to be victorious against a team who had proved to be very challenging earlier on in the year!
Our team wants to thank the U12 volleyball community for coming out to our final tournament and cheering us on! It is so appreciated! A huge thank you goes out to our team parent Michelle Berman, who coordinated all details of games to our parents and organized a beautiful team party!
The U12 Volleyball team proved that working on our three contacts during practice will help us play quality volleyball. In what was our best volleyball game to date, each boy communicated and worked hard on defense. The team has our final CISAA tournament in just over a week and we could not be more excited for the opportunity to play for a gold medal!
As always, we thank the U12 parent community for all of your support at the games!
This past Saturday, the U12 Volleyball team traveled to St.Andrew's College for their second game of the season. With a strong start, our team showcased the skills we had been developing during our first week of practice as a team. Unfortunately, St. Andrew's team showed grit and perseverance and came back from behind to claim the first set 25-23. UCC regrouped for the second match, coming out on top 25-18 but fell short in the third and final set with a loss of 25-13.
We look forward to a week of practice before our next home game @ UCC this Saturday for A- Day!
The Blues won their home opener today in decisive fashion. The played well from start to finish, serving and passing well en route to a sweep over the Gladiators from the York School.
