Blues beat the cold and their neighbors CS to continue unbeaten streak in the regular season

The weather was deceptively cold and windy for the afternoon visit to Crescent school. The Blues were without their two regular center backs who were still nursing injuries from the National  tournament. In addition the Montreal dynamic midfield duo (Dre & Cinqui) was also largerly rested due to soreness. The frozen, tired and sore Blues had trouble getting going and could not take advantage of any of the few chances they generated in the first half which eventually ended in a scoreless tie. In the second half, perhaps enlivened by some half time substitutions the Blues finally broke the ice when in the 75th minute Captain PJ Bujouves rang a shot off the Crescent post and the keeper simulataneously.  Oscar Brown then blasted the rebound into the top of the CS net. The Blues then held off the Coyotes until full time.
Man of the match: rookie Reid Gledhill who was outstanding at center back.
