Fitness Testing - Saturday, Sept. 1st

D Brown
When, where and what to bring
Gentlemen,

As you know, we will start training camp this Saturday morning. We are very fortunate to have Old Boy, researcher and former NCAA football player Allen Champagne and his team come to run our testing in the morning session. This will include a number of drills, some football specific and others more generic (40yd dash, bench press, etc). Allen and his team will be filming each of you complete the drills and then analyze/breakdown your movement patterns for safety and efficiency. You will each get a personalized breakdown of your movement patterns, strengths and challenges as well as some suggestions for improvement. This is incredible and is the type of program rarely seen at a highschool level.

In order for you to receive your analysis and breakdown, you will need to complete the attached forms (preferably before arriving on Saturday) so that Allen and his team can turn around the results and get them back to you quickly. Your parents will need to read through this and sign it. If for whatever reason you or your parents choose not to permit Allen and his team to evaluate your movements, that is fine, you will just find out your times/numbers as usual.

So in summary, we are looking forward to seeing each of you on Saturday morning ready to go. The session starts at 10:30am, but if you can arrive early we can get started as we have a lot to do. Arrive with both cleats and running shoes as well as athletic attireA water bottle is a great idea given this heat/humidity. Be sure to print off and sign the forms for Saturday morning

See you all then!
