With 13 games now under their belts, the Varsity Hockey team has had a very busy first 6 weeks. It is the most games the Varsity team has ever played this early in the school year. The team is starting to come together now and has gained a solid understanding of what it takes to be successful as a group.
With today's win 4-3 over neighbourhood rival, St. Michael's College School. the team now has an overall record of 6 wins, 4 losses and 3 ties. All four losses were by one goal which bodes well for the remainder of the season and building their defensive consciousness. Forward Mack McGregor was the player of the game today, with a hat-trick. Coulter Taylor as always, was very solid in goal.
The Blues will now enter a week of some downtime to catch up on their school work and get some well deserved rest. The team's next competition will be at the Ridley College tournament, the weekend of November 5th-7th.
